Sipho Mabona is one of my favourite origami artists, and I just found this image of a seahorse he has designed. I've tried making up my own origami seahorse before, but while I liked the result I came up with, I then couldn't remember how to make another one! I like the way he has textured and shaped the neck with crimping. Next time I have a go, I'll have to try crimping out. I really need to come back to the origami a bit, it has been rather abandoned since I got preoccupied with print and surface, and I had always intended the two to be a combination.
